Our community oriented culture is reflected in the projects we initiate, support and drive. We believe that throwing money at problems doesn’t offer lasting solutions, which is why everything we do is underpinned by a desire for sustainable change.
This amazing organization provides a home for abandoned babies and children, and distinguishes itself with its philosophy of providing an intimate environment, rather than being a sterile institution which merely offers food and clothes to disadvantaged children. Soulstice Consulting supports Hotel Hope through financial support.
We provide support in various ways, in the form of financial support as well as giving our time by hosting fun events, such as the day out to Gold Reef City, with the children and creating opportunities for our team to interact with the children either at the home, or on outings to places of interest.
We partnered with Cell C, our client, to spend a day out with disadvantaged children from Syagabisa Children Home. We believe that exposure to new experiences unlocks the mind, so a day at Gold Reef City, an amusement park in the South of Johannesburg, ticked all the boxes in terms of being stimulating, fun and interactive. Our team members guided the children throughout the day, forming relationships and engaging one-on-one, making it a special day all round.
Soulstice sponsored a life skills and entrepreneurship awareness workshop for Grade 11 learners from Senaone Secondary school in Soweto. The workshop was run in partnership with Junior Achievement South Africa. The 16-18 year olds were curious to know more about the world of technology and wanted to insight on the kind of individuals a company like Soulstice could hire, as well as how they could access opportunities at the company and get information about what space the company operates in.
As a technology company, we know that some of the best solutions don’t have to be high-tech, they should just work the best. One such solution is the construction of a cold room in the community of Tembisa. Cold rooms are specially designed to maintain a lower temperature and are a great option for storing perishable or delicate goods. The cold room in Tembisa stores goods donated to the community, making it last longer and reducing wastage. We involved the community in building the cold room, and it really is an asset the people use in their everyday lives.
